Notes

• The Early Bird rates shown above ALREADY have the 2% discount subtracted. Early Bird is due on or before the 1st day of the month.
• ACH forms are available in the office for automatic checking account debit.
• Families with 2 or more children can subtract 10% off their tuition of the oldest child!
• Full tuition is due regardless of holidays or days that CCE is closed.
• Weekly tuition is due on Fridays for the upcoming week. Late tuition is charged $1 per weekday that tuition is in arrears. Unfortunately, we are forced to withdraw families if their tuition account becomes 2 weeks in arrears. Please be sure to pay on-time! Thank you!
• Security Deposits are used to cover any unpaid charges or final tuition on terminated accounts.
• Vacation days are scheduled through the office. Holidays cannot be used as vacation days. Each child receives 1 week of vacation days per year, beginning with your 1-year anniversary. Part-time families receive the same number of annual vacation days as their child is contracted to attend per week, plus 3 SWAP days per year! Early Bird Payers: The tuition discount for vacation days is shown as a credit within your Tuition Log after the full Early Bird rate is already posted, then a tuition credit for the vacation days is posted on the next column. The log calculates your tuition, and the tally at the bottom of the log shows your amount due.
• Transport Fee for school-agers = $1.25 per transport. Transport Fees are billed monthly (or bi-monthly) in arrears by the office. You are only billed for the transports you use.
• OWLS: Full days attended (i.e. school days off) are charged the difference between the regular daily rate of $41.50 and what that student already paid for the day with their regular tuition rate based on schedule (i.e. latch-key), not to exceed $166 for any full week. Older sibling discounts do apply! Early Bird 2% discount can be deducted only if paid in advance.
• You must consistently pay either weekly or monthly (no switching back and forth month-to-month!). Remember, a month is 4.33 weeks, not 4 weeks! If you switch off Early Bird, you cannot go back for 6 months.
• Early Bird: If you have a schedule change that occurs mid-month, the first amount posted to your Tuition Log reflects the full contract price per the 1st day of the month. An additional fee or credit is then posted to reflect the change per the number of week days remaining in the month beginning with the effective date of the change. This applies for schedule changes (# days per wk), addition of sibling, change of classroom, etc.
• Leave of Absence: If you withdraw your child for 4 or more weeks (i.e., for the summer) and then plan to return, you are considered on a "Leave of Absence." You do not need to pay tuition in your absence. However, remember that we cannot hold a spot for your child. Please be sure to let the office know of your re-enrollment date! We will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot offer any guarantees of availability, schedule, etc. You relinquish your annual week's vacation during a "Leave of Absence."
• Activity Fees: $160 per year per Giraffe or Beaver student. $200 per Owl Summer Camper. This covers field trips, other activities, class Tee-Shirt and class party fees. Due April 1st.
• Curriculum Fees: $25 per year per student. This covers the student workbook and other curriculum materials. Due September 1st. (Latch-Key students exempted)
• Portfolio Fees: $100 per year per student. This covers 2 student assessments per year, upkeep of the students' Portfolios, and Parent-Teacher Conferences (2 / year). Due January 31st. (Latch-Key students exempted)
• Annual Renewal Fees: $50 per family. Due at the date of your annual registration.
