Accreditations, Certifications, and Achievements

National Accreditation Commission logo

Children's Castle EduCare is Nationally Accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC)! Our Accreditation through NAC also includes recognition of our faith-based curriculum. We were accredited by NAC in April of 2009 after undergoing a year-long self-study process as well as an on-site visit by a NAC validator, who did classroom observations plus a full inspection of our facility, procedures, and management. We are a proud member of the growing NAC-Accredited family!

Step-Up-To-Quality logo

Children’s Castle EduCare has received its First Star from Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality program! This program is designed to recognize child care programs that go beyond state licensing standards in the areas of teacher-to-child ratios and teacher training. Children's Castle has been participating in the Step-Up-To-Quality program since 2006, and expects to achieve a 2-Star Rating during the 2009-2010 academic year!

Association of Christian Schools International logo

Nearly all of the staff at Children’s Castle EduCare have received Teacher Certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)! This certification recognizes their credentials in the areas of: teaching tenure, training, and Bible study. ACSI Teacher Certiifcation is for early childhood teachers who are committed to growing in their faith, and bringing faith into the classroom!

Better Business Bureau logo

Children’s Castle EduCare is accredited by the Better Business Bureau! We are committed to operating with sound business practices, always focusing on doing what is right and ethical for the benefit of our clients, staff, and the community!

Children’s Castle EduCare was nationally Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2004. However, we chose to leave NAEYC in 2007 in order to pursue a national accreditation through NAC. We no longer maintain NAEYC accreditation, but are proud of having accomplished this nationally-recognized achievement in 2004!

In summary, all of these voluntary programs demonstrate our commitment to:

  • Continued program improvement
  • Leadership that takes all decisions to prayer
  • Positive, warm interactions between teachers and children
  • Low student-to-teacher ratios
  • A heart for servanthood
